Motherhood is the biggest rite of passage in life. It initiates a whole new woman as she births a new baby and way of life for her family. As a woman steps into motherhood, she enters a space where her mind, body and spirit have very specific needs in order to be healthy and present for her family. MOTHERS NEED ONGOING SUPPORT throughout their parenting journey. Mothers need support individually and collectively and I am here to share my wisdom, teachings, tools and experiences to help YOU!

There is nothing more sacred than the immediate postpartum time for mothers and babies. Being deeply supported during this time can set a lifelong foundation of health, connection and nourishment. Yet, modern day mothers have a lot of responsibility, and multitasking that easily leads to depletion and fatigue.  Expecting mothers focus so much time and attention on the birth, which leaves little to no time to focus on a postpartum plan of self care.  It is imperative to take care of your health as a new mama as the demands are very depleting on the mind, body and spirit. Ayurveda can provide simple ways for mothers to realign their mind, body, and spirit and to reintegrate health to the entire family. Ayurveda’s wisdom on postpartum needs can optimize the entire postpartum experience.

Ayurveda has specific recommendations for the first six weeks of the postpartum phase.  It is said that the way in which women care for themselves at this time, impacts their reproductive health for the rest of their lives.  MAH is here to guide you on a path towards post-partum nourishment, rejuvenation, and connectedness.  The services offered from MAH allow the well being of you and your baby to rejuvenate, rest, and restore.  Your mothering then comes from a place of stability and happiness which enriches the bonding and the relationship of the entire family.
